Yamaji Shuzo, founded in 1532
Kinomotocho, Nagahama, Shiga Prefecture, is a post town in the Edo period. It is located along the "Hokoku Highway" which has prospered as a land route connecting Omi and Hokuriku. On this highway full of emotions, “Yamaji Shuzo” has been watching over the travelers who have been visiting for over 480 years. It is the fifth oldest liquor store in Japan.
Along the northern country highway where there are many vineyards in the area of mulberry production.
The representative stock is also known as "North Country Highway". Pure and dry pure rice ginjo is made with organically grown Nagahama Yamada from organically grown only for this sake. At the time of establishment, the founder who dreamed of "making sake with the agate in the back ground" followed the message of "Sake sake" (Kugake). It is a liqueur prepared with Omi rice cake (mochigome), koji (moji) and koji leaves in shochu and made with traditional mirin recipe.

The label "桑" is rubbed on a generational generation.
I love the sweet and fragrant sake, and I ordered it over and over again. The autographed letter sent from Tokyo Azabu's home conveys that hot feeling to me now.
