Among Redon's works looking at the fantastic inner world, an exhibition focused on plants. "Olivier Sancer's Screen" is one of Redon's most concentrated decorative paintings between 1900 and 1911. A rare work that uses a special screen called a folding screen to create a fantastic space like Redon while effectively utilizing the margins. Enjoy the world of Redon's decoration with "Grand Bouquet (big bouquet)" which decorated the dining room of the castle building in a glorious way.

Of course there are lots of extravagant tiaras, but the most intriguing is the section that introduces the strong ties that have been with Japan since the end of the 18th century. For example, the brooches in the photo were created by Joseph Schomet around 1900, and the theme is thunder. A lightning god who strikes a drum to call a thunder is dressed like a wolf, and a woman who faces is holding a Japanese umbrella in a kimono style, a very unique design. Please watch it carefully.
