1. Teahouse entrance

3. Tenju-an Temple

枯山水園 (Karesansui-en, dry landscape gardens) and ponds with koi fish—this Buddhist temple offers truly exquisite gardens.

Visiting Hours: 9:00 – 17:00 (Winter season 9:00 – 16:30, fall color season includes light up hours 17:30 – 21:00)
Entrance fee: 400 yen (nighttime light up in fall 500 yen)

6. Konchi-in Temple

Konchi-in, a sub-temple at Nanzenji, is a place full of fascination.

Visiting Hours: 8:30 – 17:00 (December 1 – end of February 8:30 – 16:30)
Entrance fee: 400 yen (special viewing of fusuma paintings and tea house require prior reservation and an additional 500 yen)
