Shinkyodo Daisuke map release

During the Edo period Takanaga year, a 6.2 x 4.5 m vertical map created by monks and Kaihoku Kitaken will be released. In this figure, the number of animals, fish, insects, etc. that bear Buddha is as many as 127, and the number of types of animals drawn on the map is the largest in Japan. In addition, during the period, there will also be awards for “Hanaha Sora”, which is essential to the event.

Tofuku-ji Temple

At the Tofuku-ji temple association, which takes place 15 days before February, the main hall and the National Treasure Sanmon and Ryujo are displayed specially. In the center of the main hall, which can not normally be entered, is a "large-edged map" of about 12 m high and about 6 m wide, drawn by Mingei at the beginning of the 15th century. The characteristic of this bird's eye view is that cats are drawn secretly. The huge "Syuryu figure" of the Domoto impression work drawn on the ceiling is also a powerful score. The "Hanago" awarded at the main hall is also famous.

Izuminji Temple Sakai

The general release and official announcement of the Great Reclining Figure takes place. On April 8 in 1717, the "Daegu map" dedicated by the painting monk, Myoyokokan, who was the 15th resident of Boonji, will be released. There is also a 15.1-by-7.6-m-long “Daegu-zu”, which is the largest in the country in Japan. The law is held from 10 o'clock and 13 o'clock on the 15th.

Seiryo-ji Temple Zenkai and Matsumei Ceremony

Honpo-ji Temple Zen public exhibition, temple treasure exhibition
