What kind of habit is yours?

A 15-minute walk from Yuki Station, I came to the Yukizo Museum of Art on display in Mitaki.
A facility using two long-standing "Honzo" and "Sodezo" buildings. Honzo is an exhibition gallery of new art including local artists, while Sezo is an exhibition space of valuable materials that show the history and culture of Yuki City. The purpose of the meeting, “Mite-mochi”, is on the second floor of Seizo.

The displayed Otegi is a replica restored by volunteers in 2002. Yuki was first presented to Yuki City in 2003, in accordance with the 750th Festival of the Aftermath of Asako.

Highlight 1 "Misekura (Misekura)"
Misekura is a wooden fireproof building made of earth-painted stucco finish on the outer wall, and refers to a building that is used as a store or a home in addition to the original storage role. These Misekura were built from the early Meiji period to the Taisho period, when Yuki was greatly developed as a commercial city, and about 30 buildings still exist. This is one of the largest in the country.

In the late Edo period, Yude Manju was offered in hopes that it would cure the epidemic in this area. It is said that there is a practice to make boiled buns at each family on the day of the summer festival and wish for disease freeness and five grain rich harvest even today.
