Hiroshi Gebi Juzan (Yamagata Prefecture)

Adachikokokan (Tochigi)

Exhibition and exhibition of old art objects such as Ukiyo-e, collected by Adachi Kochi, who has been engaged in wholesale clothing from the late Edo period. The Kawanabe Zensai Memorial Museum of Art where you can meet the marvelous ukiyo-e of the Meiji period

べ き ょ な (Saitama Prefecture)

Ukiyo-e artist, Kano school painter, the art museum established by the great grandson of Kanabe Zensai. Among the 3,200 items, changing the theme every one to two months, about 40 works exhibiting variety of Zensai.

A large collection of Hiroshige's flesh-paintings Nakagawacho The Masato Hiroshi Museum of Art

Nakagawa watashi hiroshi gebi jutsukan (Tochigi)

A museum based on the "Aoki Collection" donated by the bereaved family of Aotoshi Fuji, a businessman from the local community. In addition to a number of Hiroshige's paintings, there are 75 Ukiyo-e works including Utagawa Kunisada, Utagawa Kuniyoshi and Kobayashi Kiyochika. It has gained popularity due to its unique exhibitions.

Hishikawa Moro Nobukinen (Chiba Prefecture)

A memorial hall built in Abokuni Hota (Awanoku Nihota, now Sawan Minami-cho) where Ukiyoe founder Hishikawa was born. While introducing the activity in Edo from the background of the Zenshin through Zenshin works, the history of Ukiyo-e and the exhibition of the customs of Edo commoner are also included.

Tokyo Metropolis (Tokyo)

The Tokyo National Museum, a collection of treasures of Japanese art, contains approximately 12,000 pieces of ukiyo-e work centered on the Matsukata collection. The masterpieces of Ukiyo-e from the early Edo period to the end of the Edo period, and the Meiji period are in full swing.

Shizuoka Tokai Hiroshi (Shizuoka Prefecture)

An art museum that displays ukiyo-e mainly in Hiroshige works, located in Yui Honjin Park, which was built at the main site of Yui hotel on 16th post town in Tokaido. Japanese Language School (Nagano Prefecture)

During the Edo period, Sakai, a Matsumoto rich merchant, had over 40,000 items, mainly Hokusai and Hiroshige, based on the “Sakai Collection,” which spanned five hundred years of five generations. It is known as one of the leading ukiyo-e museums in Japan in both quality and quantity, and has won two stars with the Michelin Green Guide.

A large number of late-year Hokusai autographs exhibited by Hokusaikan

Hokusaikan (Nagano Prefecture)

A museum specializing in Hokusai's work, built in Obuse, where Hokusai's Shiodome residence was the hometown of Takai Sasayama, who was the master of Hokusai. A collection of many paintings including "Fujikoshi Ryugu" and two festivals featuring "Ryu", "Ryu" and "Onami" and "Onami" in which Hokusai worked on ceiling paintings in the stand room. Nakano-dohiroshigebi-su-kan (Gifu prefecture)

Among the 69 lodgings on Nakasendo, there is the largest number of trips (Hatago), and an art museum in Oijuku, where it prospered the most. A treasure trove of actor pictures from above in Dotonbori

Kamigata-oki-eikan (Osaka Prefecture)

Dotonbori was a major entertainment area with a row of theaters in the Edo period. On the south side, the upper ukiyo-e picture hall in front of Hozenjimon features the actor pictures of popular actors in the culture and Bunsei period, the third generation Nakamura Muraemon and the seventh generation Kataoka Hitoshiemon. About 30 points are always displayed according to the plans and themes.

Ukiyoe seen in the ancient city is exceptional

け ん つ (Nara Prefecture)

Opened in 1973 with the donation of Ukiyo-e paintings, Japanese paintings and various crafts from the Edo period collected by Yoshikawa Kankata, a genre history researcher and Japanese painter. Ukiyoe is further enhanced by the donation of the Yura Collection. There are also many occasions where you can see the masterpieces of Kayo, Hokusai and Hiroshige.
