The Nomura Museum of Art displays works of art collected by the businessman Tokusatsu Nomura (Tokusu Tokuan). Tokusu was a businessman who founded Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. and former Yamato Bank, and he loved tea ceremony and Nora. Especially in the later years, he was equally devoted to work, tea and Noh. For this reason, the Nomura Museum of Art has a large collection of tea utensils, calligraphy, Noh mask and Noh costume.
Masterpiece exhibition "Beauty of tea ceremony, beauty of Noh, beauty of Japan"
Until the 9th of December, 2018, the exhibition "The beauty of tea ceremony, the beauty of Noh, the beauty of Japan" is being held. From the collection of gems collected by Tokubuki, I picked up some famous items such as Yukimura Yuki (Sonshonkyui) ink painting “Speech chart” (important cultural property) and Sakamoto Ide Teacup, which is said to have been owned by Akechi Mitsuhide. Especially this time, because it is also a renewal commemorative exhibition, many of the famous items in the famous items are unveiled.
This is the representative work of Ninami Doh Hachi (Ninami Do Hachi) with the Una-Don-Michi Hachisaku "Kun-Sa-Tsukukatabachi" with a sloppy cloud pattern. Michihachi is one of the masters who established a period of Kyo-yaki, and in particular, the color picture was called "The reappearance of Ogata dry mountain, Nonomura Hitoshi." "Uesugi rice bowl tea bowl" "Tenshita ni Rokutsunouchi" specialties tea bowl of the Tang thing which was won with high praise.
