The Katsura Imperial Palace was completed by spending 50 years with the enthusiasm of Chijo Hachijo and Chichi Chiyu. At the age of eight, Chihito Chihito, who started constructing the Imperial Villa, has been adopted by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. However, adoption was canceled because Shishikurumatsu was born to Hideyoshi's side Muro-kun, and to create the Hachijo-miya family and to claim the name of Chihito. It is said that after Hideyoshi's death, his brother, the late Emperor Yoyousei, had given up his intention to conquer the Prince Chihito, but eventually ceased, passing the days of depression while accepting the unfortunate life.
Chihito has developed an excellent talent in the arts since his early childhood, and has studied with Hosokawa Yusai as a warring military commander as early as a warlord. He grew up to be a cultural person who studied classical literature, Chinese studies, painting, tea and coffee, and after being given a consignment, he was immersed in "Kokoku Wakashu" and "Genji Monogatari". After such days, we embarked on the construction of "Katsura Rikyu".
At the time of the prosperous Momoyama culture prosperity, there was a growing interest in the Heian period dynasty culture among the princes and the townspeople in Kyoto, and Chi-in was also one of the strong feelings. A dynasty-style life in which you can sing a song by floating a pond in the pond, love the moon, and enjoy a banquet while playing an orchestra.
